Junior defender Wynn Boehmcke (first-team) and senior midfielder Ellie Hudson-Heck (second-team) earned repeat honors on the Intercollegiate Women's Lacrosse Coaches Association All-Great Lakes Region team, as announced by the organization on Friday.

Boehmcke, now a two-time first-team all-region selection, finished second on the team with 45 groundballs, and also caused 19 turnovers, helping the Fighting Scots rank in the top 25 in Div. III in both statistical categories. Boehmcke and Wooster's defense played a large role in the program's first 7-0 start since 1975, as the Scots were one of seven remaining unbeaten teams in the country at one point this year. Over that stretch, Wooster only allowed 53 goals.

Hudson-Heck, the fifth four-time all-region student-athlete in program history, earned second-team honors for her stellar play this year. The senior set a single-season program record with 60 goals, and closed her career with 200, a total second in the program annals. Hudson-Heck scooped up 59 groundballs, won 49 draws, and caused 38 turnovers on the year to finish her career in the program's top five in all three statistical categories.

On Wednesday, both Boehmcke and Hudson-Heck earned first-team All-North Coast Athletic Conference Certificates.

Wooster finished its 2016 campaign with an 11-6 record.
