The North Coast Athletic Conference named junior defender Megan Healy of The College of Wooster women's lacrosse team as the league's Player of the Week, per a release from the conference office Monday evening.

As part of a perfect 2-0 week for the Fighting Scots (5-1, 1-0 NCAC), Healy picked up a combined 19 groundballs – led by a career-high 11 against Baldwin Wallace University – to go along with 12 draw controls, nine caused turnovers, three goals, and one assist.

In Wooster's 20-12 victory over the Yellow Jackets (3-6) on Wednesday, Healy tallied a goal and an assist before tacking on two more goals in the Scots' 15-9 win over Wittenberg in the conference opener on Saturday at Wooster High School. Against the Tigers (2-8, 0-2 NCAC), Healy recorded a 50-percent shot percentage with two goals on four shots to go along with a co-career-best six caused turnovers.

Monday's announcement marks the first career weekly conference honor for Healy.
