The College of Wooster's dominant start to the 2014 season continued Sunday, as seniors Katherine Tuttle and Sophia Garfinkel each scored twice against Marietta College to lead the Fighting Scots to a 4-0 victory at Marietta, Ohio.

The Scots (4-1) have outscored their opponents 17-3 to start the year – including 15 goals over their last three games – and 10 different players have scored.

Today's contest got away from the Pioneers (0-4) early, as Tuttle took a through ball from teammate Jessica Friesen and booted it into the net just 4:44 into the action to put Wooster up 1-0.

Marietta held Wooster in check for the remainder of the first half, but the Scots' offense couldn't be contained after the halftime break. Tuttle started the second half the same way she did the first, with another quick goal, this time just 2:13 into the stanza, which made it a 2-0 game. Carly Joliat was credited with her second career assist on the play.

Later in the second half, Garfinkel sealed the outcome with a pair of goals coming in the 76th and 89th minute, the latter on a helper from Kennedy Payne, which created the decisive 4-0 margin.

Goalkeeper Carly Eppler hasn't been tested much recently thanks to the stingy defense in front of her, as she didn't need to make a save during her 81:14 in goal.

The Scots will look to continue rolling when they visit Wilmington College (1-3) next Sunday at 2 p.m.
