WOOSTER, Ohio – The College of Wooster women's soccer team rallied from a second-half deficit to draw Denison University 1-1 and remain unbeaten in North Coast Athletic Conference play on Wednesday afternoon at Carl Dale Field.

In addition, Wednesday's draw extends the Fighting Scots' (4-6-4, 1-0-3 NCAC) home unbeaten streak to seven (5-0-2), which dates back to 2015.

Denison (6-3-4, 3-0-1 NCAC) struck first in the 40th minute on a solo effort from Jacquie Graham, who cut in from the left flank and converted on a far-post shot from inside the 18-yard-box.

The Big Red maintained a majority of the offensive chances throughout the opening half, as they outshot the Scot 4-1 in the first 45 minutes of play.

In the second half, one opportunity was all it took for Wooster, as senior Liz Kantra delivered a corner kick towards the near post to sophomore Erica White, who flicked it far post for the equalizer in the 53rd minute.

White now stands tied with senior Kathleen Kalafatis and sophomore Caroline Dres for the team lead in goals with three.

Both sides posed a battle for possession through the remainder of regulation, as each team's midfield did well to thwart the majority of opposing chances.

Denison's Jessica Skelly managed to get off a shot from close range in the closing seconds of regulation, but Wooster goalkeeper Carly Eppler did well to cut off the angle for a game-saving stop in the 90th minute.

Jones and Dres both tallied shots in the first overtime period, but each sailed wide, while the Scots were held to zero shots in the final period of overtime.

Denison managed four shots total throughout extra time.

The Big Red outshot Wooster 15-4 on the day while winning the corner kick advantage 8-5.

Eppler finished with three saves on the day.

The Scots return to action on Saturday as they travel to DePauw University (6-4-1, 2-1-0 NCAC) for a 5 p.m. match.
