Davis, a midfielder out of Brook Park, Ohio, earned second-team recognition after starting all 18 games while compiling two assists and two goals, both of which were game-winners on the road. Davis' goals came in 2-1 wins over Washington & Jefferson College (Sept. 9) and Ohio Wesleyan University (Sept. 30). The central midfielder provided the assist on Wooster's opening goal against Ohio Wesleyan and delivered the game-opening assist during the Fighting Scots' NCAC Tournament matchup against Kenyon College (Oct. 31).
As an honorable mention, Mooty's defensive instincts proved a valuable addition to Wooster's backline, which allowed one goal or less in eight competitions, highlighted by three shutouts. After missing all of the 2016 season with a knee injury, the central back out of Macomb, Mich. started all 16 games in which she participated. Offensively, the defensive stalwart managed three shots, including two on frame.
