Wooster Gets Another Tie

KALAMAZOO, Mich. -- The College of Wooster women's soccer team recorded their third tie of the season after a 0-0 result against Kalamazoo on Saturday.

The Scots remain undefeated at 3-0-3, while Kalamazoo moved to 4-2-1.

Molly Hutter played the entire game in net for the Scots, recording a season-high eight saves for the shutout.

Wooster took 20 shots, 11 of which were on goal. Erica White and Devin Frisby each had five shots and three shots on goal. Miura Wiley, Krenare Rakoci, Anna Hartig all had two shots and one on goal. Holly Thompson and Emma Lawrence each had a shot on goal as well.

Wooster had four shots in the two overtime periods. Hartig began the first with a shot that hit the post in the 93rd minute. Lawrence and White had back-to-back goals that were saved. Wooster's last chance to break the tie came in the 108th minute, but Hartig's shot was saved.

Kalamazoo goalie Hannah Wolfe finished with 11 saves.

Wooster returns home Sunday when they will host Bethany College.
