Five student-athletes were named to the 2018 All-North Coast Athletic Conference Women's Soccer Team, including two who took home top honors.

Seniors Erica White and Emma Lawrence were named Offensive and Defensive Players of the Year, respectively. Claire Davis and Morgan Mooty were named to the second team, and Devin Frisby was an honorable mention.

White had a historic senior campaign for the Fighting Scots, tallying 41 points with 18 goals and five assists. Her point and goal total topped the league and set the school record for points and goals scored in a single season, a record that was held since 1987.

White also went 2-for-2 on penalty kicks and collected eight game winners.

Lawrence was recognized for her play on the defensive line. The Scots gave up just 12 goals in 19 games for a goal against average of .60.

Lawrence had one assist on the year. The senior was also a first team selection in 2016.

Wooster had never before claimed the NCAC Offensive and Defensive Player of the Year awards in the same season. They last won the offensive award in 2012 (Erika Kay) and the defensive in 2010 (Kelsey Peters).

Davis earned second team honors for the second consecutive year. The junior tallied nine points with three goals and three assists, including one game winner.

Mooty joined Davis with second team honors after securing an honorable mention as a sophomore. Mooty joined Lawrence on the back-line that helped record six shutouts.

Finally, Frisby was recognized with an honorable mention. The senior was second on the team with 10 points and four assists and tied for third with three goals, including one in the NCAC Championship win over Wittenberg University.

Wooster takes a 13-3-3 record into the first round of the NCAA Division III Women's Soccer Championships on Saturday when they face Centre College.
