The College of Wooster's lineup was strong from top to bottom in its 6-3 victory against Ohio Wesleyan University on Saturday, as the Fighting Scots had a chance to win every match during Family Weekend at the Scot Center courts.

As has often been the case this season, Rachel Molé and Catherine Christian sparked the team with a win at No. 1 doubles, as the duo improved to 7-3 on the season with a dominant 8-0 triumph.

Rose Chiumento and Catherine Boyles added an 8-6 win at the No. 2 spot, while Laura Kummer and Kimberly Carter came up just short, 8-6, at No. 3. That gave the Scots a 2-1 advantage heading into singles action, where they continued to pull away.

Molé and Christian added singles wins to their day, with Molé near perfect in a 6-0, 6-1 victory at the top spot in the lineup, and Christian a 6-4, 6-1 winner at the second-spot. Wooster won two more matches in singles, with No. 4 Carter and No. 6 Kummer avenging their narrow doubles loss with 6-3, 6-1 and 6-1, 6-2 victories, respectively.

As mentioned earlier, the Scots could have tallied wins in each match, as No. 3 Chiumento and No. 5 Boyles each won the first sets of their singles tilts, but Ohio Wesleyan fought back to edge out Wooster in both cases.

The Scots will host Muskingum University (1-2) on Monday at 4:30 p.m.
