Just four years ago, Wittenberg University swept The College of Wooster women's tennis team, but the tables were turned on Thursday, as the Fighting Scots won every match against their rival en route to a decisive 9-0 victory at the Scot Center courts.

The Scots (3-9) have had the Tigers' (1-6) number in recent years, as they won 8-1 in 2013 and 7-2 last spring, but this was the first sweep over them in at least 15 seasons.

Morgan Wagers didn't give up a game in singles or doubles action against Wittenberg, as she shutout her opponent at No. 4 singles 6-0, 6-0, and then paired with Melanie Chin for an 8-0 triumph at No. 2 doubles. Chin was also just one game away from a perfect day, as she added a 6-1, 6-0 singles win at the fifth-spot.

Matching Chin's performance was Rachel Molé, who surrendered just one game along with partner Catherine Christian at the top doubles spot (8-1). In singles, Molé was a 6-0, 6-0 winner at No. 2.

Rounding out the victors, Christian won 6-4, 6-2 at the first spot in the singles' lineup and Rose Chiumento won 6-3, 6-1 at No. 3. Two other matches ended in forfeit.

Wooster will look to carry over its positive momentum to Saturday, when it will play both Ohio Wesleyan University (4-8) and Adrian College (5-3) in a tri-match at Delaware, Ohio.
