The College of Wooster women's tennis team's rigorous North Coast Athletic Conference schedule continued on Wednesday as the Fighting Scots dropped an East Division match 9-0 to No. 32 Kenyon College at the VandenBerg Courts in Gambier, Ohio.

Wooster (6-7, 0-2 NCAC East) won three points off of Kenyon's (7-9, 2-0 NCAC East) top doubles flight with senior Rachel Molé carrying that momentum over to singles play where she won four games in a tightly-contest first set against the Ladies' Maggie Sweeney before the match shifted in favor of Kenyon 6-4, 6-1.

Molé's partner, junior Morgan Wagers, also had some early success in her singles match as she won two first-set games off of Kenyon's Jenna Murray during an eventual 6-2, 6-1 setback. In fact, five singles players in the Scots' lineup won at least two games in the first set of their respective matches including first-year Joy Li, who dropped a 6-2, 6-1 match to regionally-ranked Diana Aboubakare.

Wooster returns home to take on Allegheny College (5-10, 1-2 NCAC East) at 1 p.m. on Saturday. The match is part of "Family Weekend" for the tennis programs.
