Rachel Molé
Joy Li

First-year Joy Li became the third Fighting Scot in the last five years to earn the title of North Coast Athletic Conference Newcomer of the Year, while senior Rachel Molé claimed her third career all-conference singles award in addition to being named all-conference in doubles alongside partner Morgan Wagers.

As a second-team singles honoree, Li proved a valuable addition from the start, posting up at either No. 1 or No. 2 singles and going 11-9 on the season. On the year, Li faced four regionally-ranked opponents, three of which were nationally-ranked.

In singles, Molé was a combined 6-5 between the No. 2 and No. 3 positions while making six appearances at the top spot en route to an honorable mention certificate. In the Scots' seventh-place match against Wittenberg University, Molé notched her 40th career singles win, marking the eighth-most in program history.

This year marks the first career all-NCAC doubles certificate for Wagers and the second for Molé, who together as the No. 1 doubles pair went 12-10 overall and 10-8 in dual matches to earn second-team honors. With an 8-4 win over Wittenberg as part of their final match together, Molé set a new program record for all-time wins at No. 1 doubles with 37 while solidifying her third-place career standing in doubles wins (46) and combined wins (86).

As a team, Wooster (9-9, 0-3 NCAC East) finished at .500 for the first time since the 2003-04 campaign while posting a five-win improvement over the year prior.
