The North Coast Athletic Conference named three student-athletes from The College of Wooster women's tennis team to the league's annual all-conference team, the governing body announced Thursday.

Sophomore Joy Li (first-team) and first-year Sarah Duran (honorable mention) earned all-conference honors in singles, while Li and senior partner Morgan Wagers came away with a second-team nod in doubles.

Li, who last season was named NCAC Newcomer of the Year en route to second-team honors, moved up a tier after posting a 19-6 overall singles record, including a 17-2 mark in dual matches. Li's 17 wins at No. 1 tied for the program's third-most single-season wins while her 19 overall victories stand tied for second. Throughout the year, the sophomore from Beijing, China won 16 duals matches in a row, marking the longest win streak for a Scot at the No. 1 position. Additionally, Li, who finished the year ranked 24th in the Intercollegiate Tennis Association's Central Region Poll, is the fourth Fighting Scot to earn first-team honors and the first since 2007.

Duran made an immediate impact at No. 2 singles, going 15-7 overall and 14-6 in dual matches. As the Scots' No. 2 player, Duran – a native of Portland, Ore. – tied alumna Sonia Vaidya for the second-most single-season wins at No. 2 (14).

In doubles, Li and Wagers were named as a second-team selection, marking Li's first doubles all-conference pick and Wagers second consecutive second-team honor. As Wooster's No. 1 duo, the pair went 17-9 overall and 15-5 in dual matches, including a 1-2 mark in NCAC East Division play.

This year's slate marked the fifth time in program history that the Scots landed two singles and one doubles pair on the all-conference ballot. Overall, Wooster finished the year at 15-5 as the 20th in the Intercollegiate Tennis Association's Central Region Poll. The Scots tied the program record for longest win streak (9) and ended the season one win shy of tying the program's single-season wins record set back in 1997.
