The College of Wooster women's tennis team fell to 35th-ranked Kenyon College 9-0 on Wednesday in a North Coast Athletic Conference matchup.
Kenyon (5-6, 1-0 NCAC) had two ranked singles players win in the first two flights. 19th-ranked Eleni Lazaridou defeated Wooster's Otilia Oita in the No. 1 slot 6-0, 6-0 and the 23rd-ranked Allaire Berl topped Janaki Jagannathan 6-1, 6-0.
The rest of singles flights went in Kenyon's favor 6-0, 6-0.
In doubles play, Abby Williams and Abby Aitken had the best result, falling 8-3 in the No. 2 flight. Oita and Jagannathan fell 8-1 in the No. 1 flight, while Margaret Steward and Naledi Jani lost 8-0 in the No. 3 flight.
Wooster (3-10, 0-2 NCAC) will travel to DePauw University for another NCAC matchup on Sunday.
