Junior Janaki Jagannathan claimed the final North Coast Athletic Conference Women's Tennis Athlete of the Week award for 2024 as announced by the conference office on Tuesday.

Jagannathan led The College of Wooster women's tennis team to a 6-3 victory over Oberlin College last week. She was one of two players, along with Abby Williams, to claim a pair of victories.

First, Jagannathan teamed with Otilia Oita for an 8-4 No. 1 doubles victory. She then won in straight sets her No. 2 singles flight, 6-2, 6-2.

Her win at No. 2 singles was her 23rd in her career, moving her into a tie for second in program history.

Wooster hosts the NCAC Women's Tennis Tournament this weekend. The Scots open against DePauw University in the quarterfinal on Friday.
