The College of Wooster volleyball team snapped its three-match losing streak by sweeping its third opponent of the season, as the Fighting Scots held off Muskingum University in a series of closely-contested sets, 26-24, 25-20, and 25-23, in a non-conference match-up Tuesday evening at New Concord, Ohio.

The Scots (5-11) were trailing 23-21 late in the third set, but behind the steady serving of Lydia Webster, they proceeded to score four consecutive points to take the set and the match.

Wooster recorded a .160 hitting percentage overall, with a strong .325 mark in the second set, while Muskingum was limited to just .085.

Paige Parker totaled a game-high 12 kills and added 10 digs for her fourth double-double in her last five matches, while Webster hit a team-best .316 with seven kills and just one error on 19 swings.

Brittany Nicholson reached the 20-assist mark for the second time this season, despite tonight's match only going three sets, while Kaitlin Banko's 17 digs paced the Scots' defense.

Wooster will look to string some wins together Saturday when it competes in a tri-match at Greencastle, Ind., against host DePauw University (12-1, 1-0 NCAC) and visiting Defiance College (10-4).
