Q: Why did you choose to attend The College of Wooster?
A: I chose Wooster for the amazing earth science department and research opportunities.

A: I represent a group of athletes who are dedicated to academics and athletics, and that's something I am proud to be a part of!

Q: What are some of your favorite memories as a student at The College of Wooster?
A: I enjoyed visiting the Davis Family Farm as a team and have loved working with my advisor, Dr. Meagen Pollock, on my senior Independent Study.

Q: What's the best part about being a student-athlete at The College of Wooster?
A: Being a part of the Scot family, especially on the volleyball team! We are all so close and accepting of one another and I just love that.

Q: What else were you involved with on campus besides your sport?
A: GeoClub!

Q: Which College of Wooster faculty or staff member has made the greatest impact on you and why?
A: Dr. Pollock has provided incredible mentorship and has inspired me to pursue a career in geoscience!

Q: What other people or resources impacted your Wooster experience in a positive way and how did these people/resources set you up to be successful at Wooster?
A: Dr. Gregory Wiles, Dr. Shelley Judge, Dr. Mark Wilson, and Dr. Pollock are the most supportive faculty I have interacted with, and their passion is what drives the earth sciences forward! They are excellent representatives of The College of Wooster.

Q: Tell us a bit about your Independent Study project?
A: I am creating an ArcGIS dashboard and data network to support climate change data management and visualization for our earth sciences department. My end project will allow faculty and students to gain access to data manipulation and long-term storage within a single user GIS associated account for years to come.

Q: Tell us a bit about something cool you did as a student at The College of Wooster?
A: I love my field trips with Dr. Wiles. They are a blast!

Q: Reflecting back on your time at Wooster, what is one piece of advice you would give your first-year (freshman) self?
A: Something I learned from my advisor…. "It is not never, it's just not now." Don't get too caught up in figuring every detail out. Enjoy the moment and learn everything you can from your experiences!
