For the second time in his career, Luke Hutchings-Goetz has been named North Coast Athletic Conference Runner of the Week, the league office announced Monday, as the senior led The College of Wooster's men's cross country team to second-place at the Ohio Wesleyan University Invitational over the weekend.

Hutchings-Goetz was making his season debut, having not competed in the Wooster Invitational the weekend prior, and he picked up right where he left off a year ago by placing third among Great Lakes Colleges Association runners and seventh overall after covering the 8K course in 26:07.9.

The Fighting Scots took second-place at the 12-team meet, which was their highest finish in a meet of that size since they placed first of 13 schools at the Wooster Invitational in 1999.

Hutchings-Goetz and company will look to build on their momentum at the Otterbein Invitational in Westerville, Ohio on Sept. 21.
