The College of Wooster men's and women's cross country teams both earned all-academic honors for the 2017 season, the U.S. Track & Field and Cross Country Coaches Association announced on Friday afternoon.

Wooster's women's team earned the nod for the 13th time in the last 14 seasons. The Fighting Scots sport an impressive cumulative GPA of 3.24.

The men's team, which earned its 12th honor in the last 13 years, holds a nearly identical team GPA to the women's program as the Scots checked in at 3.23.

Wooster was one of five North Coast Athletic Conference institutions to have both its men's and women's team honored.

The USTFCCCA recognizes teams with a cumulative GPA of 3.10 or higher.
