The College of Wooster's Isabelle Hoover is now one North Coast Athletic Conference Athlete of the Week honor shy of hitting double digits. The fifth-year senior collected career honor nine following her effort at the season-opening Wooster Invitational/NCAC Preview.

Hoover stopped the 4K women's race watch at 16:00.2 on Thursday. Her time was fourth among 92 finishers and tops among the NCAC entrants. Every NCAC women's program except DePauw University was in the women's field.

This is Hoover's fourth career NCAC Athlete of the Week honor in cross country. She has earned the award once in each season the Scots have competed in cross country during her career.

Wooster is off to Wittenberg University's Invitational this Saturday. Action from the Clark County Fairgrounds is slated for a 10 a.m. start.
