Junior Dylan Kretchmar earned her first North Coast Athlete Conference Athlete of the Week nod as a cross country runner after leading the pack in the Denison Dual meet on Thursday.

Kretchmar won with a time of 20:23.2, finishing over 36 seconds ahead of Denison's Cara Bodary in second place.

Kretchmar's 5k time also was more than two minutes better than what she had ran the year before.

The cross country teams return to action Saturday when they compete at the Muskingum Invitational.
