Visiting Team Guide

It is our pleasure to welcome you to The College of Wooster. We hope this webpage answers any questions or concerns you may have regarding your visit to our campus. In the event you have any further questions, please do not hesitate to contact a member of our staff.

The Athletic Training Room will be available for treatments and taping at least 90 minutes prior to competition. The following will be provided for you:

  • Water
  • Ice bags
  • Cups will be provided for indoor sports
  • Biohazard bags as needed
  • Emergency equipment (crutches, splints, etc.)

Visiting football, field hockey, men's lacrosse, and women's lacrosse teams playing at John P. Papp Stadium will dress in the locker room located at the east end of the stadium. This locker room has a separate area for taping. Ice and a small portable hydrocollator will be placed in the locker room for use during the game. If any additional services are needed, please contact the athletic training room in advance. The athletic training room for these sports is located on the field level of the Scot Center outside the men's locker room.

All other sports will use the main athletic training room, which is located between Timken Gymnasium and Gault Recreation Center.

If your team will be traveling without a Certified Athletic Trainer (ATC), we ask that you please contact the athletic training staff prior to your trip to Wooster. If any athletes require treatments prior to competition and an ATC will not be with them, please make sure you send a current signed and dated referral for their treatment. Due to Ohio Licensure laws, we cannot perform treatments without a referral. We will be glad to assist your team, time and resources permitting. If you will be practicing prior to your event at The College of Wooster, please contact a member of the athletic training staff so that all necessary arrangements can be made.
