Cassidy Wertman

    Physical Education, Athletics, and Recreation Event and Operations Manager

Cassidy Wertman was named facilities and operations assistant in January of 2013 and was promoted to physical education, athletics, and recreation event and operations manager in August of 2017.

Her main responsibilities include oversight of game operations for all 23 varsity sports, student staffing for Wooster's fitness facilities, scheduling and operations of all athletic facilities, and ticket sales.

Before coming to Wooster, Wertman held a similar position at Ohio University as assistant director of facilities & operations during the 2011-12 academic year. Prior to that, she was assistant director of equipment, also at Ohio University, between 2009-11.

Wertman earned a degree in sports management with a business minor from Ohio Dominican University, where she played for the women's varsity basketball team, and also holds a master's degree in recreation and sports sciences from Ohio University.
