The 10th-ranked College of Wooster baseball team's utility ace Chandler Dippman was on a roll last week, and his work on the mound caught the eye of the North Coast Athletic Conference, which selected the senior right-hander as its Pitcher of the Week on Monday.

Dippman won both of his starts last week and logged a tidy 0.75 ERA over 12 innings. The senior was lifted after five innings of four-hit shutout baseball during Wooster's 12-0 win over Hiram College on Wednesday and returned to the bump three days later against Ohio Wesleyan University. Dippman went the distance against the Battling Bishops allowing one run on five hits. The pitch-to-contact hurler struck out six on the week.

When he wasn't on the mound, Dippman started four games at third base and went 10-for-17 with seven runs, five RBI, three doubles, and a pair of round-trippers.

Dippman, and his Wooster teammates, will be looking to extend the team's nine-game winning streak when Otterbein University (12-10) visits Art Murray Field for a 4 p.m. single game on Thursday.
