The College of Wooster field hockey team was held scoreless for the second straight game after a 1-0 loss to Ohio Wesleyan University on Saturday.

Playing without one of their top scorers in Sydney Schuster, Wooster struggled offensively after being outshot 30-2. Goalkeeper Katie Shideler stayed active, making six saves.

The game's lone goal came in the second period when Ashley Barno scored after tipping it in at the left post. Madisyn Bunke was credited with the assist. It was Barno's second goal in as many games.

Wooster did not record a penalty corner but had to fend off 16 from Ohio Wesleyan.

Ohio Wesleyan improved to 4-1 in this non-conference matchup while Wooster dropped to 2-2. Wooster travels to DePauw next Saturday.
