Rochester Named NCAC Player of the Week

Max Rochester scored a goal and tallied an assist in his lone game last week.

Junior Max Rochester (Chicago, Ill./University of Chicago Labratory) earned North Coast Athletic Conference Player of the Week honors in men's soccer after scoring a goal to lead The College of Wooster men's soccer team to a 2-0 victory over Washington and Jefferson last week.

Rochester's goal, scored in the 21st minute on a free kick from five yards outside the box, would eventually be the game-winner. Rochester also had an assist on Bennett Anderson's goal later in the game. Rochester now sits at six career goals.

The Fighting Scots are 1-0 on the season and will have their home opener Thursday against Grove City College.
