GREENCASTLE, Ind. – The College of Wooster men's soccer team and DePauw University tied 1-1 on Saturday.

The Scots were 10 minutes away from winning their North Coast Athletic Conference opener until a goal in the 90th minute from DePauw's Jake Brady became the equalizer that sent the game into a tie.

Junior Max Rochester hit the opening goal in the 27th minute that gave Wooster a 1-0 lead up until Brady's goal.

Wooster played the final 12 minutes a man down after Ousmane Sy collected his second card of the day. However, both teams only took one shot for the remainder of the game.

The closest either team got to winning in overtime was a corner kick that resulted in a shot high by the Tigers in the 95th minute.

DePauw barely outshot Wooster 10-8 and held the small corner kick advantage 7-6.

Keegan King had the only other shot on goal for Wooster. Will Collis made two saves in net.

Wooster moves to 3-3-2 overall, while DePauw moves to 6-1-1. It was both team's first conference game.

Wooster hosts Bluffton University on Wednesday in a non-conference bout before getting back into NCAC play Saturday against Ohio Wesleyan University.
