The College of Wooster men's soccer team opened North Coast Athletic Conference play on Saturday, falling 3-0 at Wabash College.

Wabash (5-3-1, 1-0) took the lead early and scored two late to put the game away.

David Riggs scored in the 15th minute off an assist from Austin Hughes. In the second half, Wabash claimed two unassisted goals, one in the 68th minute from Alexis Delgado and another in the 90th minute from Justin Kopp.

The two offenses were almost identical as Wooster actually outshot the Little Giants 10-9. They also held the corner kick advantage 8-5.

Goalkeeper Will Collis made three saves in net, while his counterpart Chad Wunderlich made seven. Bennett Anderson and Manny Burton each had two shots on goal but could not find the back of the net.

Wooster drops to 4-6 overall and 0-1 in the NCAC. They will return home next Saturday when they host DePauw University in another NCAC contest.
