First-year Eric Jacques and sophomore Josh Gluck headlined The College of Wooster swimming and diving program's participants at Saturday's non-scoring Kenyon College Fast Chance Meet.

Jacques capped his rookie season with the fifth-highest point haul in the program annals in the one-meter competition at 437.05 points. That total is above the 425-point NCAA Div. III diving regional standard, however divers must hit that mark twice in a season or can qualify automatically for the regional meet by surpassing it at the conference championships. Nonetheless, Jacques heads into his sophomore year now with a lot of momentum behind the regional standard score and a pair of fifth-place showings at last week's North Coast Athletic Conference Championships.

Gluck turned in a 2:10.40 in the 200 breaststroke. That's the third-best time in the program annals, and just edged out first-year Doak Schultz's 2:10.70 from last week's North Coast Athletic Conference Championships.
