Wooster Swimming & Diving Teams Recognized for Academic Achievement

Colorado Springs, CO – The College Swimming and Diving Coaches Association (CSCAA) named The College of Wooster men's and women's swimming and diving teams to its Scholar All-America team for the 2019 spring semester.

Wooster was one of 480 institutions named to the list.

The women finished with a team 3.48 GPA while the men finished with a 3.08 GPA. The women were just above the median 3.45 GPA which was the highest on record.

Fourteen swimmers recently qualified for the 2018-19 North Coast Athletic Conference Academic Honor Roll as Wooster had a school record 106 student-athletes make the cut.

Ryan Campbell headlined the list following a spot on the College Sports Information Directors of America (CoSIDA) Google Cloud Academic All-District Team.

Others earning a spot on the NCAC Honor Roll included Adam Chalek, Josh Gluck, Brooke Brown, Claire Cerne, Sara Fikse, Emma Fikse, Annabelle Hopkins, Leah John, Hannah Langer Avery Pearson, Cleo Potter, Kera Sells and Sarah Stutler.

The CSCAA will announce its individual Scholar All-Americans next week.
