ADA, Ohio — Sophomores Claudia Partridge and William McMichael were the two representatives from The College of Wooster men's and women's track teams to take part in this weekend's Polar Bear Final Qualifier hosted by Ohio Northern University.
McMichael competed in the 400 meter dash. He placed first of three in the second heat with a time of 50.87 seconds, which put him 6th of 10.
Partridge reached a height of 5 feet, 2.5 inches in the high jump for second place. In the six person field, five reached that height but Partridge was the most efficient for second place.
Neither Partridge or McMichael improved upon their season best to qualify for the NCAA Indoor Championships next weekend.
Next, Wooster will compete at the Coastal Carolina Invitational from March 13-14.
