Senior Miki Rae of The College of Wooster track and field team, logged a new personal-best time of 33:59.01 in the 10,000 meters at last week's Coastal Carolina Invitational, and on Monday, the North Coast Athletic Conference selected him as its Athlete of the Week for men's middle-distance and distance events.
Rae placed third at last week's meet, as he came in behind a pair of student-athletes from NCAA Div. II Lock Haven University. Within NCAA Div. III, Rae's time is the fifth-fastest this spring.
This is Rae's first NCAC Athlete of the Week honor.
