Kayla Bertholf

Sophomore Kayla Bertholf of The College of Wooster track and field team, earned the North Coast Athletic Conference's Athlete of the Week award for women's middle-distance and distance events, as announced by the conference office on Monday.

Last week, Bertholf was the runner-up in the 5,000 meters at the Coastal Carolina Invitational, with her time of 18:52.77 marking a new personal-best. Bertholf's time is tops in the NCAC as is the 13th-fastest time in Div. III this spring.

This is Bertholf's first NCAC Athlete of the Week honor.
