Led by Janet Zahorsky, The College of Wooster women's golf team battled through the elements to score a 429-459 victory over Ohio Wesleyan University on a chilly and rainy Saturday at the Mill Creek Golf Club in Ostrander, Ohio.

Only Zahorksy was able to post a sub-100 score in the challenging conditions, as she turned in a round of 97, which was 12 strokes lower than the next best score. DaSol Kuen recorded a 109, while Joanie Jenkins (110) and Nichole Gustafson (113) finished just strokes behind.

The win was Wooster's second this season against Ohio Wesleyan, as they also topped them in a dual match back in September in the program's debut. Also noteworthy, the Scots were triumphant without their No. 1 Rainey Sullivan who was out with an illness

The Scots will host the Wooster Invitational next Saturday at the Wooster Country Club.
