On Monday, The College of Wooster women's lacrosse team defeated Curry College 22-5.

The trio of Alexa Mellis, Megan Healy and Caitlyn O'Connor scored 13 of the team's goals. Mellis scored a game-high five, while Healy and O'Connor each scored four.

Katie Harvey, Jenny Grossmann and Emma Lawrence each had two goals. Jordan Stone, Ashley Boersma and Miura Wiley each scored one.

Wooster took 38 shots and 32 were on goal. The Scots also had 20 groundballs, 20 draw controls, 11 caused turnovers and 18 assists.

Grossmann led the Scots with four assists, and Mellis finished with three.

Katie Shideler improved to 4-0, making seven saves in 41:49. Caroline Dent made three saves in 18:11 of action.

Wooster takes a 5-0 record into John Carroll University on Saturday.
