ALLEGHENY, Pa. — The College of Wooster women's lacrosse team reached 12 wins for the second consecutive time after a 21-5 North Coast Athletic Conference win against Allegheny College on Tuesday.

The Scots also improved to 4-1 in the NCAC, while Allegheny dropped to 4-9 overall and 1-5 in the conference.

Mellis scored the first three goals of the game. Stone followed with one of her own, and her score gave Wooster a 4-0 lead within the first five minutes.

Grossmann and Healy each scored twice in a span of six minutes for Wooster to go ahead 8-0. By halftime, Wooster led 13-4.

Katie Shideler collected her 11th win in net after making three saves.

Wooster was 14-of-16 on clear attempts. Healy had seven of the team's 24 ground balls.

Wooster connected on just 1-of-7 free position shots. They outshot Allegheny 38-14 and won 19-of-27 draw controls.
