Heather Conklin

Heather Conklin, a second-team Intercollegiate Women's Lacrosse Association All-American as a senior and a three-time all-region selection, is the women’s lacrosse team’s new full-time assistant coach.

Conklin arrives at the College fresh off a standout career at The College at Brockport, State University of New York. There, the 2021 State University of New York Athletic Conference Player of the Year and four-time first-team all-conference selection helped the Golden Eagles to a 53-21 record, a SUNYAC title, and two appearances in the NCAA Div. III Championships. Conklin scored a program-record 222 goals and holds the single-season program mark with 71 in 2019. The five-year staple tallied 247 draw controls, 120 groundballs, 66 caused turnovers, and 53 assists during her career.

While in college, Conklin gained coaching experience as a club coach with Relentless Hustle out of Rochester, New York. Additionally, she worked in building management, game operations, and athletic communications as a student, and did a semester-long internship with the associate athletic director at Rochester Institute of Technology.

Conklin graduated with a sport management degree and furthered her education with a master’s in athletic administration at Brockport.
