NEW CONCORD, Ohio – The College of Wooster women's soccer team concluded its non-conference schedule Tuesday with a 2-0 win at Muskingum University.

Sophomore Holly Thompson scored her team-leading fifth goal, sinking the game-winner in the 11th minute. Junior Mila Zunich intercepted a short goal kick, and that led to the score by Thompson.

Later in the 34th minute, junior Miura Wiley took the ball from near midfield and drove down the field to score on a strike from about 25 yards out. It was her second goal of the season.

Wooster outshot Muskingum (5-5) 24-4 and took eight corner kicks to Muskingum's one. Junior goalkeeper Molly Hutter earned the shutout behind three saves as all but one of Muskingum's shots was on goal.

Wooster enters North Coast Athletic Conference play with a 7-1-1 overall record. They host DePauw University on Saturday.
