The College of Wooster women's soccer team picked up an important 2-0 win over Allegheny College on Tuesday with just one North Coast Athletic Conference game remaining this season.

The Kelseys came through for the Scots on Tuesday as senior Kelsey Hall and junior Kelsey Stone scored in the first half to put the Scots over the top.

Hall hit the game-winner in the 18th minute near the front of the net after a pass from the outside from junior Miura Wiley. About 10 minutes later, Stone intercepted a clear attempt from an Allegheny defender and scored on a strike from about 25 yards out.

It was Hall's second goal of the season and Stone's first as a Fighting Scot.

Wooster outshot the Gators 12-5 and took eight corner kicks to Allegheny's one.

Junior keeper Molly Hutter was once again a wall, collecting two saves. She has not allowed a goal in the past five games, in which the Scots are 4-0-1.

Wooster is now 11-2-3 overall and 4-1-2 in the NCAC. Allegheny drops to 6-5-4 overall and 3-4 in conference play.

The Scots are fourth in the NCAC standings at 14 points and with one game remaining. A win or a tie at Denison University on Saturday would get the Scots into the NCAC Tournament.
