Trio Named All-Region

USCA Release

Junior Miura Wiley was named to the 2019 United Soccer Coaches NCAA Division III Women's All-Great Lakes Region First Team while teammates Molly Hutter and Claire Davis were named to the second team as announced by the United Soccer Coaches Association on Monday.

Wiley, who was named the North Coast Athletic Conference Women's Soccer Offensive Player of the Year, appeared and started in all 21 games and led the Scots with seven goals, seven assists and 21 points.

Among conference leaders, she tied for first in assists, second in points and fifth in goals.

Davis was a part of the midfield, scoring two goals and adding an assist. Her lone assist came in the team's 2-0 NCAC Tournament semifinal win over Denison University.

Hutter allowed just 11 goals this year and recorded a school record 15 shutouts. The 15 shutouts currently ties her for first in the nation as well.

She finished with 103 saves, led the conference with a .904 save percentage and produced a goals-against-average of 0.50.

Wooster finished their 2019 campaign at 14-3-4 with an exit in the second round of the NCAA Division III Championships.

Last year, Wooster had two representatives on the first team in Emma Lawrence and Erica White.
