Wiley Selected to Scholar All-America Team

Junior Miura Wiley was recently named to the 2019 United Soccer Coaches Women's NCAA Division III Scholar All-America Third Team.

The Biochemistry & Molecular Biology major is the lone representative from the North Coast Athletic Conference. Earlier this week she was joined by teammates Claire Davis and Molly Hutter on the Scholar All-North/Central Region Second Team.

To be eligible, a student athlete must be a junior or above, have at least a 3.30 cumulative grade point average and start more than 50 percent of all games. The student athlete must also be an elite player as supported by playing honors or contributions to the success of his/her team.

Wiley, the NCAC Offensive Player of the Year, appeared and started in all 21 games and led the Scots with 21 points on seven goals and seven assists. Among conference leaders, she tied for first in assists, second in points and fifth in goals.

Wooster finished the 2019 campaign at 14-3-4 after advancing to the second round of the NCAA DIII Championships for the first time in program history.

Junior Maialen Martinez from William Smith College was named the Scholar Player of the Year.
