The College of Wooster's Hayley Nash claimed the final North Coast Athletic Conference Player of the Week honor for the 2019 season, as announced by the conference office on Monday.

Nash averaged 4.27 kills and 2.55 digs per set during a 2-1 week for the Fighting Scots. Wooster's first-year sensation tallied a match-high 15 kills versus Allegheny College on October 29, as the Scots swept the Gators, and in doing so, secured a fifth-place NCAC finish, the program's highest since 2012.

On Saturday, Nash closed the regular season with a pair of double-doubles. First, she had 15 kills and 13 digs versus Case Western Reserve University. That showing was followed up with 17 kills and 10 digs versus Buffalo State College.

Nash's 285 kills are the sixth-most in program history in the current scoring era.

Wooster's (12-15) opens play at the NCAC Tournament at 4 p.m. on Friday against Kenyon College (7-19). Wittenberg University (15-10) is serving as host of the two-day, single-elimination tournament.
