Athletic Training

Training Room Wooster’s sports medicine staff of three certified athletic trainers strives to provide the best possible athletic healthcare for the College’s intercollegiate athletes.

The main athletic training facility, located on the first floor of the Scot Center (just off of Timken Gymnasium), is approximately 1,600 square feet and includes a large therapy room, taping room, and office. Numerous pieces of rehabilitation equipment are available, as well as therapeutic modalities such as ultrasound, electrical stimulation units, and whirlpools.

There is also a satellite athletic training facility on the field level of the Scot Center (just outside of the locker rooms), which is primarily used for pre- and post-practices on the turf and track.

While their main priority is the care of varsity athletes, the athletic training staff does provide basic care for any student.
