D3baseball.com Team of the Week

Senior first baseman Dane Camphausen delivered a massive opening day on The College of Wooster baseball team's Florida trip, and he landed on D3baseball.com's Team of the Week, which was announced on Wednesday morning.

Camphausen went 6-for-9 with five of the six hits going for extra bases against Mitchell College and Babson College on Sunday. He belted two homers and three doubles, scored six times, and had five RBI. Camphausen sported a .727 on-base percentage for the day with two walks in addition to the six base knocks.

This is Camphausen's second D3baseball.com Team of the Week honor. He previously was selected on May 11, 2021 after slashing .750/.800/1.500 versus Wittenberg University, where he capped that three-game series with a 3-for-4 showing with four runs, three RBI, and a three-run homer.

Wooster (3-2), fresh off a 5-1 win over Arcadia University in what marked Barry Craddock's 250th win as a college head coach, is back in action at 3 p.m. on Wednesday with a game against 18th-ranked North Central College (8-2).
