WOOSTER, Ohio – Amanda Artman scored two goals and added two assists, and several other Scots lit the scoreboard as well, as The College of Wooster toppled Transylvania University 8-1 in a non-conference clash Friday evening at John P. Papp Stadium.

Wooster (7-5) produced an early score when Artman dished to Anna Divis near the right post, and the latter one-touched in a goal at 3:55. The Scots then went on to steadily pull away over the course of the first half, as Eileen Barrer and Nikki Sever each scored, and Laura German rattled the cage twice over a 2:08 span that pushed Wooster's lead to 5-0.

With just seconds left before the break, Artman got loose on a long breakaway and beat the 'keeper on a shot from the right wing that all but sealed the outcome.

Artman notched her 27th career multi-score game with a goal just 1:12 into the second half, and Anna Regan dished to Maddie Hart for the final tally, as Wooster won its second-straight game in convincing fashion.

The Scots will be back in non-conference action Sunday when they travel to University of Rochester (5-7) for a 5 p.m. start.
