Trailing 3-1 midway through the second half, The College of Wooster went on to score three unanswered goals, including Clare Nelson-Johnson's game-winner in double overtime, that propelled the Fighting Scots past University of Rochester 4-3 in a non-conference tilt Sunday at Rochester, N.Y.

Amanda Artman recorded Wooster's (8-5) initial two goals, and Stephanie Standera provided the equalizer, as she rattled the cage on a penalty corner by Eileen Barrer with less than nine minutes remaining in regulation to tie the game 3-3. Kate Valora almost scored the game-winner with under a minute to go, but her shot was saved prompting overtime.

It wasn't until the second extra period that Wooster got the look it needed, as Artman had her shot attempt saved, but Nelson-Johnson was there to blast a shot into the lower-right corner of the goal, completing the Scots' dramatic comeback.

For sophomore Nelson-Johnson, the game-winner was just her third goal this season, and fourth of her career. It was also a milestone outing for Artman, as the senior broke a 28-year old school record held by Cindy Runette (1979-82). Artman scored her 91st and 92nd career goals in the win, surpassing Runette's 90 career goals, and becoming Wooster's all-time leading scorer.

The Scots will be back in action Monday afternoon when they visit Ithaca College (5-6) at 3 p.m.
