GRANVILLE – The College of Wooster men's tennis team wrapped play at the non-scoring Big Red Invitational hosted by Denison University on Sunday.

Wooster played seven singles matches and saw victories in two. Alex Drewes, after two victories on Satruday, had another solid day with a 7-6 (6), 6-1 win over Ohio Northern University.

First-year Gabriel Escobar, after helping Wooster to its lone doubles win yesterday, also took a win against an Ohio Northern opponent. He needed a long, super tiebreaker to complete the win, 3-6, 6-3, 14-12.

In doubles play, Wooster played eight matches but did not leave victorious in any of them. 

The men will return to action next weekend at the Ashland Doubles Invitational.
