Senior Shivam Dewan went 4-0 in two matches for The College of Wooster men's tennis team last week to pick up North Coast Athletic Conference Athlete of the Week honors.

Dewan led the way for a perfect weekend for Wooster who defeated Grove City College and Capital University by 9-0 scores.

Against Grove City, Dewan teamed with Namit Misra for an 8-5 win in the No. 2 doubles flight. Dewan later blanked his opponent in the No. 3 singles flight 6-0, 6-0.

Against Capital, Dewan and Misra took another win in the No. 2 flight, this time at 8-1. Then in singles play, Dewan moved up to the No. 2 flight to capture a 6-2, 6-1 win.

On the year, Dewan is 4-3 in singles play. Wooster is 2-3 overall and will travel to Ohio Northern University on Saturday.
