The College of Wooster men's tennis team collected its second straight win with an 8-1 victory over Otterbein University on Sunday at Aspen Racquet Club.
Four players achieved a pair of victories as the Scots swept singles play. The only loss came in an 8-5 decision at No. 3 doubles.
First-years Jay Dixit and Anthony VanOyen took their own 8-5 win in the No. 1 flight, while Shivam Dewan and Arnav Yadav won 8-2 in the No. 2 flight.
Dixit then had a dominant 6-0, 6-1 win over Max Fickas in the No. 1 flight. VanOyen, the reigning North Coast Athletic Conference Athlete of the Week, took a 6-3, 6-3 win at the No. 2 flight.
Moving down, the next three flights each lost just four games. Dewan won 6-1, 6-3 at No. 3, while Yadav and Namit Misra won by the same 6-3, 6-1 score at the No. 4 and No. 5 flights, respectively.
Finally, Max Stratford ended the match with a thriller, taking a comeback 2-6, 6-3, 1-0 (8) win.
The Scots will return to Aspen Racquet Club on Feb. 17 when they take on Lourdes University.
