First-year Brenna Haydu's grand slam propelled The College of Wooster softball team to its second consecutive sweep within North Coast Athletic Conference play, taking down Kenyon College on Tuesday.

The Scots took game one 12-2 in five innings and later won game two, 6-1.

In addition, senior Stephanie Griffin-Sanchez scored four runs on the day to stand alone on the program's career list for runs scored. She now has 107, surpassing the 105 set by Paige Goldberg from 2012-15.

Haydu broke open game one with her first career home run, which made it an 8-2 game. Before then, the game was tied entering the bottom of the fourth, until the Scots scored 10 runs in the inning to eventually force a five-inning game.

First-year Tori Conner gave up two runs in four innings to collect the win. She had a no-hitter through three until it was broken up in the fourth. Sophomore Lynnsey Delio pitched a perfect fifth to conclude the game.

Julia Jennings went 2-for-3 with three RBI, while Conner also went 2-for-3 but with two RBI and a double.

In game two, Wooster used a three-run second to obtain a lead they would never lose. First-year Madi Yankauskas hit a two-run double to put Wooster ahead 2-0, before Emma Hetkey made it 3-0 on a single to short.

Singles from Cate Barkdoll and first-year Jasmine Mueller made it a 5-1 game in the fifth. Griffin-Sanchez then capped off the scoring with a solo home run in the sixth.

Senior Rachael Dudziak picked up her second win, pitching four innings and allowing one unearned run. Delio pitched the final three frames to collect her second save.

Conner again went 2-for-3 with a double, and Griffin-Sanchez finished 2-for-4. Conner is now batting .421 on the year, while Griffin-Sanchez is at .400.

Kenyon falls to 13-13 and 0-4 in the NCAC. Wooster, now winners of four straight and seven of their last eight, improves to 14-14 overall and 5-1 in conference play.

The Scots hit the road this weekend to face a pair of conference foes, starting at Wittenberg University at Saturday.
