The College of Wooster men's and women's swimming and diving teams swept their second consecutive dual meet on Saturday, this time defeating Malone University.
The men collected a 199-80 win, and the women took a 172-99 victory.
Sophomore Josh Pearson had another stellar outing, winning four individual events. He won the 1000 free in 10:31.16, the 500 free in 5:00.16, the 400 IM in 4:21.97 and the 200 fly in 2:00.60.
Keeping with the men, first-year Damien Donado won a pair of close calls. He took the 100 back in 56.30, winning by .07 seconds and then took the 200 back (2:07.55) by .19 seconds.
First-year Ryan Gross followed a similar trajectory. He won the 50 free win in 22.46, winning by .11 seconds, and then won the 100 free (49.66) by .54 seconds.
Elsewhere, first-years Isaac Shaker won the 200 free in 1:51.67, and Tucker Andrewjeski won the 200 breast in 2:23.07.
Doak Schultz, Zach Fickes, Shaker and Gross teamed to win the 400 free in 3:22.13.
Finally, senior Eric Jacques participated in the diving events, winning uncontested with a score of 210.70 in the 1-meter and with a score of 185.10 in the 3-meter.
For the women, they were highlighted by a pair of relay wins.
The 200 medley relay team of Hallie Findlan, Ollie Bream, Molly Likins and Maddie Becker posted a time of 1:54.62 for the victory. Later, the 400 free team of Mia Chen, Emma Connors, Likins and Findlan won in 3:52.
Senior Madison Whitman won the 200 free in 2:06.08, winning by just .57 seconds. She then created some distance to win the 200 breast 2:37.90.
Bream took the 200 fly in 2:16.14. Kay Wetmore followed in 2:24.37, as did Alice Markey in a time of 2:31.18.
Bream also won the 400 IM (4.52.51) with a pair of Scots following her once again with Whitman placing second (5:11.41) and Izzy Bellefleur in third (5:24.38).
Becker added a win in the 100 breast in 1:11.40. Wooster also finished in the two spots behind her via first-years Bellefleur (1:14.31) and Vicky Maumbe (1:18.01).
Lastly, Findlan swam a 24.63 to win the 50 free, and Min Kim won the 200 back in 2:20.20.
The Scots won't be in action again until Nov. 13 when they host Westminster College.
